Acting Chairman of ZB Financial Holdings Limited Chartered Accountant (CA) (Z)

The Board of Directors of ZB Financial Holdings Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Agnes Makamure as the Acting Chairman of ZB Financial Holdings Limited Board with effect from 20 March 2024.

Agnes Makamure is a Chartered Accountant by profession, having trained with BDO Kudenga Chartered Accountants (Zimbabwe).

She joined Masimba Holdings Limited in 2008 as Finance Manager of the construction business unit and was later appointed to her current role as Finance Director in 2015.

Agnes has over 15 years’ experience in strategy formulation, implementation, financial reporting, corporate governance, risk management, International Financial Reporting Standards and financial management.

She is highly experienced in Internal and External Audit with a deep understanding of risk-based audits, enterprise risk management and consulting engagements in the financial services sector, Tourism and Hospitality, Manufacturing and Retail industries.

She was appointed as a Non-Executive Director for ZB Financial Holdings Limited effective March 2019 and served as the Chairperson of the ZBFH Audit Committee until March 2024.

Her major achievements include achieving growth in the financial position in her capacity as a Finance Director, successfully completing corporate actions on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and implementing effective cost containment programs.

She was awarded a Megafest Top 20 businesswoman award in 2015. She is an avid casual golfer and loves to learn more about the sport.
