ZB Financial Holdings appoints the following as Non-executive directors:

LUXON ZEMBE

Luxon Zembe joins the ZBFH Board as a Non-Executive Director. Luxon is the founder and Managing Director of Management Solutions Group of Companies. He holds an MBA from the Henley International Business School and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. He is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) (UK). He has over 25 years experience in business and management consultancy for high profile companies in all sectors of the economy. His achievements include being a member of the special King-led panel of local and international corporate governance experts chosen to review the failure of banks in Zimbabwe and recommend revised corporate governance framework for the financial sector. He is the former Chairman of the CBZ Holdings Board, Schweppes Zimbabwe Limited, PSMAS, PSMI Group and National Manpower Advisory Council among other directorships.

PETER MICHAEL VICTOR WOOD

Peter M V Wood joins the ZBFH Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers in Zimbabwe (FIBZ), Certified Associate of the Institute of Bankers of South Africa (CAIB) SA, Fellow of the Zimbabwe Institute of Management (FZIM) and a past full member of the Zimbabwe institute of Public Relations. He is a seasoned banker with a career spanning over 25 years with financial institutions like Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe Limited, Zimbank (now ZB Bank Limited) and Premier Banking Group. Peter is a professional leader with strong, candid and competent communication skill. A visionary with strong organisational skill. He has championed various projects over the years and has been very instrumental in their success.

SAMUELLE DIMAIRHO

Samuelle Dimairho joins the ZBFH Board as a Non-Executive Director. He is the co-founder of Chengetedzai Depository Company Limited, Zimbabwe’s first Central Securities Depository for the capital markets industry with securities deposits that have peaked at over USD10 billion and trade settlement nearing USD5 billion since inception.

Samuelle also co-founded the Aura Group and is the driving force behind the growth and diversification of the Group. His knowledge and expertise in the areas of ICT, Software development, management consulting, property investments, energy solutions and strategic investments across industry verticals are key strengths.

His entrepreneurial skills have also won him numerous accolades -most notably in 2018 when he featured in the Forbes Africa 30 under 30 List. He was also identified by Africa Youth Awards as one of the Most Influential Young Africans of 2018, awarded a World Economic Forum Global Shapers Youth Award 2018, Junior Chamber International Creative Young Entrepreneur of The year 2014 and also won the Entrepreneurs Organisation Global Student Entrepreneur Award 2014.

He holds an ACCA Chartered Certified Accountant qualification, ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, and holds a BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting with Oxford Brookes University.
