Luxon is the founder and Managing Director of Management Solutions Group of Companies with subsidiaries specializing in corporate governance, business development and strategic planning, commercial farming, hotel and tourism, offshore investments advisory services, education and training. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIOD), Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CFIPD-UK), Fellow of Zimbabwe Institute of Management (FZIM), and Fellow of the Institute of People Management (IPMZ). He has over 30 years hands-on experience in business and management consultancy for high-profile companies in all sectors of the economy locally and across Africa Region. His outstanding achievements include being Past President of Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce, Past President of Zimbabwe Institute of Management, Past President of the Professional SMEs Chamber of Commerce and Industry, member of the Special King-led panel of local and international corporate governance experts chosen to review the failure of banks in Zimbabwe and recommend revised corporate governance framework for the financial sector. In 2005 he was nominated as individual with the biggest impact on business by Zimbabwe Quoted Companies Survey. In 2008 he was chosen as the Business Personnel Practitioner of the Year.

Luxon was a member of the Steering Committee and Chairman of Boards and Directors Thematic Committee that compiled the first issue of Zimbabwe Code on Corporate Governance. He is also former Executive Committee Member of National Economic Consultative Forum, National Tripartite Negotiating Forum, and Chairman of National Macroeconomic Task Force.
