Dr. Shepherd is a qualified Actuary by profession, has an honours Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and holds a Doctorate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. He has a very solid Financial Services experience in Banking, Insurance (both Life and Non-Life), Investments, Pensions and Risk Management spanning more than 24 years. The work experience is both within and outside of Zimbabwe. He was once the President of Actuarial Society of Zimbabwe (ASZ) and an Executive member of the Insurance Council of Zimbabwe (ICZ). Currently, he sits on various company Boards as a Non-Executive Director (NED) and is also a member of the Institute of Directors of Zimbabwe (IoDZ).
