Arthur K. Matsaudza

ZB Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Arthur K. Matsaudza as Chief Executive Officer of ZB Bank, effective 1 October 2026.

Arthur is an accomplished banking and financial services executive with over 17 years of experience spanning banking, fintech and telecommunications across African markets. He brings a distinctive blend of executive leadership, commercial acumen and technology expertise.

Prior to joining ZB Bank, Arthur was Managing Director of Omari, Old Mutual’s fintech business, which he founded within Old Mutual. He previously served as Old Mutual’s Group Executive for Digital and Data, leading transformation across its African markets. Earlier, Arthur held senior executive roles at Steward Bank, including Head of Digital Banking and Chief Technology Officer, where he played a key role in the Bank’s transformation journey. He also held leadership roles in telecommunications, where he led the convergence of mobile network operations, mobile money and banking capabilities at scale to drive growth.

Arthur holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Gloucestershire (UK) and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Science and Technology.
